Basketball Game Preview: Hillsborough Terriers vs. Riverview Sharks

The Hillsborough Terriers will take on the Riverview Sharks at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsborough is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Hillsborough came up into this matchup off a tough 62-point loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Plant City by a score of 50-47 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Terriers have suffered since November 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, Riverview was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 35-30 to Chamberlain. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while the Storm are ranked 215th).

Riverview dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Hillsborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
