Softball Recap: Santa Fe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Archie on Thursday, Santa Fe came back down to earth. The Chiefs fell 6-1 to the Crest Ridge Cougars on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Santa Fe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tatum Fitzwater, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Crest Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Santa Fe nor Crest Ridge have any future games scheduled.
