Volleyball Preview: Lindbergh Eagles vs. Hazen Highlanders
The Lindbergh Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Hazen Highlanders at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lindbergh is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Lindbergh finally turned things around against Renton on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Red Hawks.
Lindbergh was dominant in the third set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough Renton squad. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-8.
Meanwhile, Hazen made easy work of Interlake on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Lindbergh's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Hazen, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
