Floyd Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 66-31 win over the Evansville Harrison Warriors. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Highlanders had established a 33-point advantage.

Evansville Harrison lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaliyah Farmer, who shot 40% from the field en route to 16 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Reniah Cordray, who posted nine points.

Coming up, Floyd Central will head out on the road to square off against Charlestown at 7:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Evansville Harrison, they have already played their next matchup, a 59-39 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 7th.
