Soccer Recap: Mark Morris Takes a Loss

Mark Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ridgefield Spudders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ridgefield this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in March.

Mark Morris' loss dropped their record down to 0-13-3. As for Ridgefield, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mark Morris will square off against rival Hockinson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield is set to challenge their familiar foe Hudson's Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
