Basketball Recap: Medicine Valley Wins Going Away Against Mullen

Medicine Valley won the last time they faced Mullen and things went their way on Saturday too. The Medicine Valley Raiders strolled past the Mullen Broncos with points to spare, taking the game 49-31.

Mullen lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ben Werner, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. That was a full 51.6% of Mullen's points, marking the third time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Gonzalez, who had six points.

Medicine Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Mullen, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
