Baseball Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short

Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Rowdy Rebel Bulls this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Monday.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for South Stanly, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Albemarle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Stanly, they have already played their next match, a 6-4 victory against Mount Pleasant on the 29th.
