Preview: Marion County Knights vs. Edmonson County Wildcats
Having just played yesterday, the Marion County Knights will get right back to it and host the Edmonson County Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on February 13th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Marion County came into Monday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Garrard County by a score of 62-49 on Monday.
Meanwhile, Edmonson County was beaten by Butler County 97-68 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Edmonson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Butler County is ranked 67th).
Marion County's win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-19. As for Edmonson County, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
