Baseball Recap: Covington-Douglas Takes a Loss

Covington-Douglas lost against Oklahoma Bible back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 15-7 to the Trojans.

Covington-Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Oklahoma Bible, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Looking ahead, Covington-Douglas will be playing in front of their home fans against Garber at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oklahoma Bible, they will head out to challenge Drummond at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
