Basketball Recap: Cadott Comes Up Short

Cadott lost against Fall Creek back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cadott Hornets had to suffer through a 73-29 loss at the hands of the Fall Creek Crickets. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Cadott still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Nerdrum, who made all 5 shots she took racking up 17 points and eight boards. That's the most points Nerdrum has posted since back in February of 2024.

Cadott's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Fall Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Cadott will square off against Bloomer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Considering Bloomer has lost three straight at home and Cadott four straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Fall Creek, they will venture away from home to square off against Thorp at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fall Creek is facing Thorp at the right time seeing as Thorp is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
