Softball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner lost to Creekview back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 5-4. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hailey Serrano and Jamisen Graves stepped up to the plate in a big way. Serrano went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Graves went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Vivian Lewis, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Turner's record is now 8-7. As for Creekview, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Turner will take on rival Lone Star at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Creekview is set to face off against their familiar foe Wakeland at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
