Caroline hadn't done well against Courtland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cavaliers won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cavaliers have posted since April 30, 2024.

Caroline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Carter, who went 2-for-4 with one run. Michael Schott also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
