Softball Recap: North Creek Continues Road Dominance on Friday

North Creek is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Inglemoor on Friday, but Inglemoor came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Jaguars came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Vikings. The two-run effort marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Reagan Fleming spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Paige Geller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024.

North Creek's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Inglemoor, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

North Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Bellevue on the 7th. As for Inglemoor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 19-3 win against Hazen on the 7th.
