Tonopah dropped their record down to 9-8 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Indian Springs Thunderbirds by a score of 27-26. If the Muckers were looking for revenge after losing 14-13 to the Thunderbirds when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jacy Kiersch and Liberty Deck did some serious damage despite the final result: Kiersch got on base in five of her six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Deck got on base in four of her seven plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Kiersch is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Gabrielle Strozzi was another key player, getting on base in two of her seven plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

As for Indian Springs, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

On Indian Springs' side, Jadyn Guerino and Minnie Giarla did most of the damage at the plate: Guerino got on base in five of her six plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one triple, while Giarla got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and two triples. Those four runs gave Guerino a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia Clay, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Indian Springs beat Tonopah by a score of 24-17 later that day.
