Divine Savior Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Riviera Prep Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Divine Savior Academy was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Fernanda Bergamaschi, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Bergamaschi wasn't the only good servers: Divine Savior Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive contests.

Divine Savior Academy's victory bumped their record up to 28-1. As for Riviera Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Divine Savior Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Westminster Christian on the 28th. Riviera Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
