Basketball Recap: Belmont's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Belmont can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They rang in the new year with a 46-35 victory over the Wakefield Memorial Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Marauders also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Belmont's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Wakefield Memorial, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Belmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against Wakefield Memorial: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
