Volleyball Recap: Cascade's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cascade entered their tilt with Southmont on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mounties. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cadets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Cascade who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 15-8.

Suzy Moore was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Cascade now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Southmont, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Cascade has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against University on the 23rd. As for Southmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Seeger on the 23rd.
