Soccer Game Preview: Poquoson vs. Warhill

The Poquoson Islanders will face off against the Warhill Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Poquoson gave up the first goal on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They beat Nandua by a goal, winning 2-1. The win continues a trend for Poquoson in their matchups with Nandua: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Warhill was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Jamestown finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Warhill's draw makes their record 6-2-3 this season. As for Poquoson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
