Basketball Game Preview: Barstow Knights vs. KIPP Legacy

The Barstow Knights will take on KIPP Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barstow will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Two weeks ago, Barstow ended up a good deal behind Washburn Rural and lost 71-55. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 436th in Missouri, while the Blues are ranked 53rd in Kansas).

Meanwhile, KIPP Legacy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 50-46 to Park Hill.

Barstow's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for KIPP Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Barstow didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against KIPP Legacy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. Will Barstow repeat their success, or does KIPP Legacy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
