Football Game Preview: Truman/Kennedy vs. Allen Park

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Allen Park. On Friday they will take on Truman/Kennedy at 7:00 PM. Allen Park don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Last Friday, Allen Park put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Anderson with a sharp 35-7 victory. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (29) and coasted on those for the victory.

Meanwhile, Truman/Kennedy ended up a good deal behind Edsel Ford when they played, losing 22-41. This makes it the second loss in a row for Truman/Kennedy.

Allen Park's win lifted them to 6-2 while Truman/Kennedy's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. We'll see if Allen Park's success rolls on or if Truman/Kennedy are able to steal their positive momentum.
