Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Takes a Loss

West Brunswick fought the good fight in their overtime game against North Brunswick on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scorpions. West Brunswick were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced North Brunswick earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

West Brunswick's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9-2. As for North Brunswick, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

West Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against West Bladen on the 16th. As for North Brunswick, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Heide Trask on the 15th.
