Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aquinas). They claimed a resounding 76-45 win over the Notre Dame Titans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Aquinas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lj Hall out in front who went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points along with six assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Warsaw, who went 6 of 10 en route to 16 points and three steals.
Hall wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Aquinas was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Notre Dame, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Aquinas won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Woodcrest Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Woodcrest Christian's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Aquinas has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Notre Dame, they will challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
