Preview: Torrance Tartars vs. Segerstrom Jaguars
Torrance has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Segerstrom Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Segerstrom took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Torrance, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Torrance beat South 24-20.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Segerstrom had to settle for a 21-19 defeat against Marina on Friday.
Segerstrom's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaiah Valdivia, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and Ayden Morales who rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Torrance is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Segerstrom, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 6-4.
