Preview: Lighthouse HomeSchool Lions vs. Community Christian Lions
Having just played yesterday, the Lighthouse HomeSchool Lions will get right back to it and host the Community Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lighthouse HomeSchool and 14 for Community Christian.
After soaring to 57 points the game before, Lighthouse HomeSchool were a bit more limited in their game back in December of 2023. They were outmatched by Sabine Pass on the road and fell 54-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lighthouse HomeSchool has scored all season.
Community Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 68-24 loss at the hands of Harmony Science Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Community Christian in their matchups with Harmony Science Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Lighthouse HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Community Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-15.
Lighthouse HomeSchool strolled past Community Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-44. Does Lighthouse HomeSchool have another victory up their sleeve, or will Community Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
