Softball Recap: St. Peter Comes Up Short

The St. Peter Saints didn't have quite enough to beat the Mound-Westonka White Hawks on Friday and fell 5-4.

St. Peter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Auden Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Another was Lily Filand, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mound-Westonka, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

St. Peter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mound-Westonka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jordan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
