Eastland and Millsap are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Buckaroos recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Reid Green put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Dawson Lynch was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Devon Briscoe was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Eastland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-2.
