Volleyball Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Adairsville Tigers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Ridgeland had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Adairsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Ridgeland and Adairsville will both be playing LaFayette the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Ramblers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
