Recap: Lytle Pirates vs. Dilley Wolves
The Lytle Pirates can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Dilley, posting a 94-17 victory on the road. The win was familiar territory for Lytle who now have eight in a row.
It was another big night for Calyssa Sevier, who dropped a triple-double on 31 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. Sevier is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 17 every time she's taken the court this season. Arianna Garcia was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Lytle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. As for Dilley, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26.
Lytle will be playing in front of their home fans against the Owls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hondo is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Dilley, they will face off against the Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Natalia is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
