Preview: Clark Chargers vs. La Quinta Blackhawks
Having just played yesterday, the Clark Chargers will jump right back in to play the La Quinta Blackhawks at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Clark earned a 46-33 victory over Coachella Valley.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clark to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ariana Brown, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Brown is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trinity Tavita, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, La Quinta had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 45-10 stomp they got on the road against Indio.
Clark has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for La Quinta, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.
