Volleyball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Highland Hornets

Roosevelt is 1-9 against Highland since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rough Riders will head out to face off against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m.

Roosevelt came up short against Copley on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Highland entered their tilt with Barberton on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Magics with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Highland was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4, 25-14.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Roosevelt might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Highland in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Rough Riders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
