Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Victorious

Lake Country Classical Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They escaped with a win against the Campbellsport Cougars by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42.

Ryan Low was his usual excellent self, going 6 of 14 en route to 21 points along with five rebounds and five steals. John Walker was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to ten boards and eight assists.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Campbellsport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Country Classical Academy will take on Holy Redeemer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Campbellsport, they will square off against Kewaskum at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
