Football Recap: McAdams Takes a Loss

McAdams dropped to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They were dealt a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Leake County Gators. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Leake County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Zechariah Washington had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 227 yards and one touchdown while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Those 227 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Davion Townsend, who rushed for 114 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

McAdams wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 46-0 defeat against Noxapater on the 24th. As for Leake County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 22-0 victory against Sebastopol on the 24th.
