Volleyball Recap: Alcoa Comes Up Short

Alcoa lost against Sevier County back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornadoes came up short against the Smoky Bears, falling 3-0. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sevier County scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Alcoa now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Sevier County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Alcoa has already played their next match (against Lenoir City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sevier County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West on the 2nd.
