Volleyball Game Preview: Tyler Knights vs. Williamstown Yellowjackets

Tyler hasn't had much luck against Williamstown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights will look to defend their home court against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tyler took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against River, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pilots: they've now won six in a row.

Tyler was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-98), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 15-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Williamstown made easy work of South Harrison on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Williamstown walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-15.

Williamstown's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Tyler, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
