Volleyball Recap: South Forsyth War Eagles vs. West Forsyth Wolverines
South Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the West Forsyth Wolverines. The War Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Several War Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brianna Novo, who had 18 digs. Novo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had five or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Avery Russell, who had ten digs.
Leading West Forsyth to victory were Adeline Wieler and Mckenzie Kappy. Wieler had 14 digs and four aces, while Kappy had seven digs. That's the most aces Wieler has posted since two weeks ago.
South Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for West Forsyth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Forsyth will welcome Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Forsyth is facing Denmark at the right time seeing as Denmark is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for West Forsyth, they will face off against Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alpharetta will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something West Forsyth surely won't give up without a fight.
