There's no place like home for De Pere, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Green Bay Preble Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Redbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

De Pere was led to victory by Siena Arendt and Mallory Derenne. Arendt had 11 assists and two aces, while Derenne had five digs and two aces. What's more, Derenne posted two assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups.

They weren't the only good server: De Pere was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive games.

With the victory, De Pere broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11. As for Green Bay Preble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.
