Basketball Recap: Van Horn Takes a Loss

Van Horn lost against Fort Stockton back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Van Horn Eagles lost 49-28 to the Fort Stockton Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Van Horn now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Fort Stockton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Horn will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on El Paso HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Fort Stockton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Compass Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
