Softball Recap: Wade Hampton Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wade Hampton's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Lexington Wildcats on Wednesday.

Wade Hampton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eden Morford, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Layla Traylor also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Wade Hampton has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Lexington, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

As of now, neither Wade Hampton nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
