Basketball Recap: Wilton Has No Trouble Against Mt. Pleasant

After losing to Mt. Pleasant the last time they met, Wilton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wilton Beavers walked away with a 79-68 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Panthers on Tuesday. That 11 point margin sets a new team best for the Beavers this season.

Wilton's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Wilton has already played their next game, an 85-82 victory against Mid-Prairie on the 31st. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-53 win against Washington on the 31st.
