Basketball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 90-11 loss at the hands of the Jackson-Reed Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Griffins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' District of Columbia basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Tigers are ranked first).

Kwali Moorer was Bell's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Cire Wilson held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Bell's record is now 3-10. As for Jackson-Reed, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Bell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-11 defeat against Ballou on the 17th. Jackson-Reed has also already played their next match, a 74-11 victory against Bard on the 17th.
