Volleyball Recap: Kodiak Takes a Loss

Kodiak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Dimond Lynx. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Maggie Hubert paced Kodiak's offense, picking up five kills. Hubert got some help from Fremela Garcia and her six assists.

Kodiak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-2. As for Dimond, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Kodiak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against West Anchorage on the 26th. As for Dimond, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tournament Opponent on the 26th.
