Soccer Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

If Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Rockford East on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The J-Hawks came up short against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Barrington are ranked 13th).

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Barrington, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1-2.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the Fillies/Broncos have any future games scheduled.
