Baseball Recap: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Harding Skippers

Madison can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They never let the Harding Skippers onto the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Madison who now have five in a row.

Landon Tomko was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Tomko was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Madison got a big performance out of Ben Amos, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Seth Negin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Madison pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Harding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
