Baseball Recap: Brentwood Academy Takes a Loss

Brentwood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-4 loss last Wednesday.

Brentwood Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keaton Uggla, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Jordan Humphreys was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Brentwood Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lipscomb Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

While Brentwood Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
