Softball Recap: Seneca Extends Winning Streak to Three

Seneca entered their tilt with Blue Ridge on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Fighting Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Seneca's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Seneca will head out on the road to face off against Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blue Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Greer at 6:00 p.m.
