Basketball Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 55-39 to the Marina Mariners. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-43 back in December of 2024.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Marina, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Seaside will face off against Monte Vista Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seaside is facing Monte Vista Christian at the right time seeing as Monte Vista Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Marina, they will take on Rancho San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marina will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Rancho San Juan will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's game.
