Beaverton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 39-35 W against the Shepherd Bluejays. That's more bragging rights for the Beavers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Beaverton's record is now 8-11. As for Shepherd, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
