Weston Cooley, Moriarty's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Saturday. Nobody could stop Cooley as he scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Moriarty's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-9 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Cooley and Moriarty will host Los Alamos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pintos have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
