Baseball Game Preview: Dillon Christian Warriors vs. Fairmont Golden Tornadoes

Dillon Christian is 0-6 against Fairmont since February of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will take on the Golden Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Williamsburg Academy hit Dillon Christian with a seven-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Stallions, falling 13-3.

Dillon Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gray Easterling, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Fairmont might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to Green Sea Floyds, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Fairmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dillon Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Dillon Christian might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Fairmont when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
