Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln Southeast). They blew past the Bryan Bears 78-33 on Wednesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-16.

Leading Lincoln Southeast to victory were Carter Chatelain and Mike Ngoyi. Chatelain went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points, while Ngoyi went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points. Shamar Theiler also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Lincoln Southeast was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bryan only posted three assists.

When it comes to explaining why Bryan lost, don't look at Deon Darnell. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 14 en route to 19 points. The contest was Darnell's ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Lincoln Southeast's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Bryan, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
